Amazon rainforest landscape

Our Mission

Travel that gives back
to the forest.

Every journey on AmazonQuest helps protect the rainforest it celebrates.

Our Story

How AmazonQuest began.

AmazonQuest started with a simple frustration. As a traveler dreaming of the Amazon, our founder spent months sifting through vague listings, inflated promises and middlemen who couldn't deliver what he was looking for.

The lodges doing the right thing — the family-run posadas, the communities led by local people, the small operators reinvesting in conservation — were almost impossible to find. Authentic experiences, small groups and tailor-made trips were just as hard to come by.

We built AmazonQuest because we believe tourism should protect the rainforest — and because the people who care for the Amazon deserve a platform that puts them, and the forest, first.

Our Commitment

Our mission.

From our official launch, AmazonQuest will donate a share of every booking commission to organizations working to protect and restore the Amazon rainforest and support its local communities.

We're committed to partnering with reputable conservation organizations already doing extraordinary work on the ground — and to publishing our contributions openly, so every traveler and every host can see exactly where the money goes.

This is a promise that activates the moment we launch — and grows with every booking.

Why it matters

The Amazon needs all of us.

A shrinking forest

The Amazon has lost roughly 17% of its original cover, and deforestation pressure continues across the basin. Every protected hectare matters.

Unrivaled biodiversity

Home to an estimated 10% of all known species on Earth, the Amazon is one of the most biologically rich places on the planet — and one of the most fragile.

Indigenous guardians

More than 400 indigenous groups call the Amazon home. Forests under indigenous stewardship are among the best preserved in the world.

How you help

You're already part of the mission.

By traveling

Booking an experience through AmazonQuest channels income directly to vetted lodges and communities — and a share of every commission supports Amazon conservation efforts.

By hosting

Lodges that join the platform get visibility among travelers who specifically seek ethical Amazon experiences — and become part of a network committed to protecting the forest they call home.

Join us in protecting the Amazon.

Whether you're planning your next journey or opening your lodge to the world — you're helping write a different future for the forest.
